Tan Sio Beng is an ex-Singapore international footballer who plays as a defender for NFL Division 2 side Admiralty FC. Following the departure of former player coach Mohd Noor Ali to Geylang United in June 2012, Sio Beng was also appointed as the assistant coach of the Wolves. Sio Beng is known to be a tenacious player with a strong mentality to win. His dogged performances during training for Balestier Khalsa led to his debut in 1999 after he impressed Tigers coach PN Sivaji.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://junpiterfutbol.com/post/16974978475/jpf-talk-featuring-pn-sivaji )〕 ==Club career== Sio Beng has turned out for S.League sides Balestier Khalsa,〔"Balestier's probable XI", The Straits Times, 19 April 2000, Page 70〕 Sengkang Marine〔"Sengkang's Tan to be punished for rant at coach", The Straits Times, 2 May 2007, Page 46〕 and Tanjong Pagar United〔"TANJONG PAGAR", Today, (Afternoon Edition), 8 March 2004, Page 37〕 as well as two stints with Singapore Cricket Club in the NFL Division 1 before making the switch to Admiralty FC in 2012. He spent five seasons at Balestier Khalsa and four seasons at Sengkang Punggol. An entertaining but fiery player, Sio Beng was memorably sent off while playing for Balestier Khalsa in 2005 for violent conduct 〔"Balestier launch appeal for defender", Today - Afternoon Edition, 13 June 2005, Page 41〕 after Home United skipper Aide Iskandar's challenge on Balestier's keeper, Rizal Rahman, sparked a free for all. Balestier subsequently lodged an appeal against the red card but the appeal was rejected.〔"Tigers' futile appeal", Today, (Afternoon Edition), 20 June 2005, Page 40〕 He also had an on-pitch fight with Gusta Guzarishah during a match between Balestier Khalsa and Home United in 1999.〔"Egmar kuasai tarungan yangbawa Home menang, Berita Harian, 28 November 1999, Page 24〕 In 2007, Sio Beng was punished by Sengkang Punggol after his side's 4-3 win over Phnom Penh Empire in a Singapore Cup first-round match for shouting obscenities at his coach, Jörg Steinebruner〔"Sengkang's Tan to be punished for rant at coach", The Straits Times, 2 May 2007, Page 46〕 after he was reprimanded for his poor performance on the pitch that day.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://newspapers.nl.sg/Digitised/Article.aspx?articleid=today20070502-1.2.74.7&sessionid=2a159e00242c451a8691e915db4b1c5a&keyword=tan+sio+beng&search=advanced&fromdate=20050101&todate=20091231&articles=1&advertisements=1&illustrations=1&letters=1&obituaries=1&miscellaneous=1&newspaperTitles=beritaharian%2cdailyadvertiser%2ceasterndaily%2cmalayansatpost%2cmiddayherald%2csingchronicle%2csingdailynews%2csingweekherald%2cstraitsadvocate%2cstraitschinherald%2cstraitseurasian%2cstraitsmail%2cstraitsobserver%2cstraitstelegraph%2cstoverland%2cstweekly%2cbiztimes%2cfreepress%2csingfreepressa%2csingfreepressb%2cstraitstimes%2ctoday%2cweeklysun%2clhzb&fuzzysearch=Off&token=tan%2cbeng%2csio )〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Tan Sio Beng」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
